Quantum Team Identifies Partner Challenges to Streamline Technology Adoption
We are pleased to report that the Quantum team has conducted thorough mapping and identification exercises, gathering valuable insights into our partners' needs and challenges. This initiative aims to expedite the adoption of new and pioneering technologies among our partners, facilitating faster integration and implementation processes.
By aligning our efforts more closely with the specific needs of each partner, we are confident that the process of adopting new technologies will be significantly streamlined, leading to enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

DLR <> Hyundai <> UPS Israel PoC
The Company:
DLRob developed a plug-and-play robot software platform incorporating advanced HRI technologies, including patented functionalities enabling robots to learn and replicate new skills by observing and imitating human behavior. DLRob is currently investing. The software and technology assist in the automation of logistics and manufacturing tasks.
The PoC:
Our PoC center at Talcar company is a KIA 2500 vehicle with a Universal Robotic Arm and DLR Gripper. A SPOT was placed on the truck, along with a box attached to the back for UPS shipping. The DLRob-powered robotic arm autonomously picked up packages outside the KIA vehicle and placed them inside. In the second step, the DLRob-powered robotic arm collected packages from the car cargo shelves and placed them on SPOT's back.

Nvidia Makes Major Israeli Acquisitions
Nvidia, a prominent chip giant, has recently finalized its acquisition of two Israeli startups, Deci and Run:ai, marking a substantial investment in the Israeli tech landscape. The acquisition of Deci, valued at approximately $300 million, underscores Nvidia's commitment to expanding its expertise in artificial intelligence (AI). Deci, founded in 2019, specializes in automating the design of deep learning models to enhance performance, aligning with Nvidia's AI-focused strategy. The acquisition follows Nvidia's previous purchase of Run:ai for $700 million, emphasizing its dedication to bolstering AI infrastructure orchestration and management capabilities. Run:ai, established in 2018, offers a Kubernetes-based container platform tailored for AI workloads, facilitating efficient GPU resource allocation. Fixefy provides a platform designed to transform commercial supply chain relationships by using end-to-end agnostic connectivity and data augmentation to unify the flows of material, information, and finance.
The company's context-based B2B network digitizes contracts, price lists, service level agreements, and raw operational data to create information integrity, thereby optimizing supply chain profits by reducing transactional costs, eliminating duplications, and capturing missing charges.

Israeli Cloud Security co Wiz Raises $1B at $12B Valuation
Israeli cloud security company Wiz has announced the completion of a $1 billion financing round at a company valuation of $12 billion. This brings the total amount raised by the company to $1.9 billion.
The latest round is led by Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Thrive Capital, with participation from Greylock, Wellington Management, and existing investors Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, Howard Schultz, Index Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, and Sequoia Capital.
The financing round follows the acquisition of Israeli cloud detection and response company Gem Security for $350 million in March. The acquisition has enabled Wiz to expand its cloud-native application protection platform.
Wiz, which was founded in 2020 by Rappaport, Ami Luttwak, Roy Reznik, and Yinon Costica, has 900 employees in Israel, the US, Europe, and Asia and plans to hire over 400 new employees this year, some of them in Israel.
